Brazilian cuisine: How to cook the Filling for chicken pie


For the recipe you need:

    * Chicken - 1 pc. (About 2 kg)
    * Hearts of Palm (palmitos, palm hearts, Palmenherzen) - 6 pcs.
    * Juice of one estuary
    * Green olives (pitted) - 50g
    * Tomato - 2 pcs.
    * Onion - 2 pcs.
    * Garlic - 1 clove
    * Tomato paste - 1 tsp
    * Flour - 1 tsp
    * Olive oil - 4 tbsp
    * Salt, pepper, parsley and coriander - to taste
    * Water - 1 cup

For filling, rinse the chicken, split into pieces, then remove all the bones. Chicken cut into small pieces, pour the lemon juice, add finely chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper and herbs.

In a skillet put out finely chopped tomatoes, with which pre-peel, onion and garlic. Add chicken, tomato paste, flour and a little water. Simmer 15-20 minutes on medium heat.

Now add the sliced rings of palm hearts and olives, pitted.

The filling is cool and put on the dough for the pie.
