Brazilian cuisine: How to cook Rice with cashew nuts "Arroz com castanha de caju"


For the recipe you need:

    * Long-grain rice - 900g
    * Onions - 2 onions
    * Garlic - 4 cloves
    * Shnitt, onion, parsley - 1 tablespoon
    * Butter - 3 tbsp
    * Minced beef - 250g
    * Pork Stuffing - 250g
    * Tomatoes - 250g
    * Cooked ham - 100g
    * Seedless raisins - 100g
    * Green peas (fresh or canned) - 400g
    * Cashew nuts - 200g
    * Grated Parmesan cheese - 3 tbsp
    * Salt and pepper to taste

Boil floury Fig. In a pan fry the onions in butter, shnitt, onion and parsley, add the mince and slices of tomato, from which pre-peel. Salt and pepper to taste. Leave a stew with the lid closed on a low flame for 20 minutes.

Add to rice stewed minced meat, raisins, bacon, cashews and peas, mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let stand for several minutes already disabled, but still a hot stove.

Put the cooked rice onto a large platter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
